About
Origin
Zeta Efe (Feff) is a Mexican-Canadian artist and designer currently based in Vancouver, Canada. Born and raised in Monterrey, Mexico, she moved to Vancouver in 2016, where she has continued to grow and evolve her artistic practice.
Deeply influenced by pop culture, spirituality, and music; Feff’s work reflects a vibrant fusion of these inspirations. She has a profound fascination with colour, form, and the expressive potential of the human body. Her primary medium is painting, where she explores themes related to the human form—often focusing on body parts as a way to abstract and reimagine the physical self.
Her creative process is both intuitive and intentional. She often begins by experimenting with photography, digital editing, and illustration to build the foundation of each piece. These elements are then transformed through painting, where she plays with irregular, curved lines and vivid colour palettes to deconstruct and reassemble the human figure. The result is a dynamic, playful composition that invites multiple interpretations and visual experiences.
Beyond her work as a visual artist, Feff has also cultivated a diverse skill set in digital design. She has worked across various creative fields, including UI/UX design, graphic design, and animation, which further enrich her multidisciplinary approach and visual storytelling.
Feff continues to explore the intersections between the digital and physical worlds, always guided by her curiosity, bold aesthetic, and passion for creating meaningful visual experiences.
